Course Overview
The Basel Committee requires each bank to assess the capital cushion and liquidity buffers needed to support their current and future risks. The results of the ICAAP and Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP), as developed by the banks, are reviewed by supervisors during the annual Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP).
Participants understand the structure of ICAAP/ ILAAP requirements. They get to know major challenges (for sector and individual banks). Furthermore, they understand what are the “must have”, “nice to have” and “can wait” components and be able to quickly identify gaps in own organizations.
ICLAAP = ICAAP & ILAAP effectiveness course will impart to participants the fundamentals and the dynamics of ICAAP and ILAAP processes including objectives, roles, responsibilities, technical aspects, key challenges and, the reporting design and what regulators expect to see.
