The hardest analytical problems refuse to stay inside one technique — and laboratories that reach for the same instrument every time solve only the problems that instrument can see. This masterclass takes a practical approach to method problems and technical problems that may require multiple technologies. It covers proper sampling procedures and most of the analytical and physical measurement tools available for problem solving: separation methods, classical and instrumental techniques, spectroscopy, microscopy, chromatography and surface analysis. The programme also works through the computer procedures that matter in analysing the data — from LIMS and record keeping to multivariate analysis — closing with dedicated problem-solving sessions on realistic cases.

Frequently asked
Which analytical techniques does the masterclass cover?
It spans most of the analytical and physical measurement tools available for problem solving: separation methods, classical and instrumental techniques, spectroscopy, microscopy, chromatography and surface analysis. It also covers bulk classical methods and colligative physical properties — including density and TDS — for the problems where instruments are overkill.
Does the course address data handling as well as measurement?
Yes. The programme works through the computer procedures that matter in analysing the data — from LIMS and record keeping to multivariate analysis — because sampling and measurement are only as useful as the analysis that follows. It closes with dedicated problem-solving sessions on realistic cases.
Who should attend this chemical analysis training?
Laboratory managers and supervisors, analytical chemists and method developers, QC and QA professionals in process industries, and laboratory technicians handling multi-technique work. The programme is aimed at problems that refuse to stay inside one technique — and the people who must solve them anyway.
Is the programme available in French or as an in-house edition?
Yes. BIZENIUS delivers in English and French, and an in-house edition can be tailored to your laboratory’s instruments, methods and sample types. Sessions run on a rolling calendar with dates confirmed on request; fees and quotations are provided on enquiry.
