The programme moves from foundations and health and safety management systems — policy, organising and planning (Unit IGC1) — through workplace, transport and musculoskeletal hazards, work equipment, fire and electrical hazards, to chemical, biological, physical and psychological health hazards, each paired with proportionate risk controls you can apply in any employment sector.

The IGC suits managers and supervisors with health and safety responsibilities, HSE officers building a formal qualification, worker representatives and safety committee members, and professionals working across international jurisdictions.
