HR strategy that aligns with the business and proves it — analytical tools, measurable KPIs and L&D integrated into a plan senior management will fund.

The programme

HR functions that cannot show their strategy driving organisational goals stay administrative, whatever their title says. This course equips HR professionals — including L&D teams — to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organisational objectives, translate them into actionable plans, and measure and communicate their impact. Participants apply analytical tools such as SWOT, PEST and PEDSTL to strategic planning, set measurable HR goals and key performance indicators, and work through talent attraction and retention, training design, performance management, compensation and benefits, turnover, budgeting and ethics. The emphasis throughout is on integrating L&D practice to build capability and continuous improvement — and on preparing the cohort to lead their organisations to sustainable competitive advantage.

What you will do

Develop an HR strategy aligned with business objectives, applying SWOT, PEST and PEDSTL to the strategic planning behind it.
Set measurable HR goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) that survive scrutiny from the executive team.
Implement strategies to attract, select and retain top talent, and manage turnover with deliberate retention strategies.
Design and deliver training and development programmes that build capability and a culture of continuous improvement.
Run performance management systems that drive productivity and engagement, and analyse compensation and benefits for competitiveness and fairness.
Align HR budgeting with strategic objectives, allocating resources where the strategy needs them.
Evaluate and communicate the impact of HR initiatives to senior management, with ethics and core values integrated into practice.

Frequently asked

Do the HR programmes cover people analytics and workforce planning?

Yes. The curriculum runs from analytics for talent management through strategic workforce planning, competency frameworks and succession. Participants leave able to build a workforce plan, apply statistical techniques to the data already sitting in their HRIS, and connect talent decisions to business impact in numbers.

Do programmes address nationalisation and localisation mandates?

Yes — recruitment, retention and succession under nationalisation mandates are covered directly, including competency-based selection and the succession pipelines those policies demand. Participants leave able to build a localisation plan that fills roles with capability, not just headcount.

How does admission to an HR programme work?

Submit an application or a brochure request from the programme page; a senior practitioner answers within one business day, brochure included. There is no online checkout — dates, format and fees are settled in that conversation.

Can we train our whole HR function at once?

Yes. Every programme runs in-house, tailored to your HR operating model, your systems and your workforce priorities, in English or French. A private cohort lets the whole function work on the same live problem rather than sending individuals to separate courses.
