Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) Masterclass

Control-system security for the industrial age — ICS standards, attack surfaces, hardening and incident response where IT playbooks do not transfer.

Format

Classroom · Live Virtual

The programme

The industrial threat landscape remains largely unknown — data collection in industrial networks is thin, and there is a critical shortage of experienced ICS cybersecurity professionals to analyse what data exists. Meanwhile smart manufacturing and digital supply networks have made cyber an operational risk that must be secure, vigilant, resilient and integrated into strategy from the start. This training works through the newest and most challenging cybersecurity risks to control systems and the most effective defences against them. The cohort covers ICS components, deployments, drivers and constraints; the standards and regulations that govern them; hands-on control-system attack surfaces, methods and tools; defence architectures; hardening; and incident response inside a control-system environment.

What you will do

Harden an Industrial Control System (ICS) using end-point protection, secured data and disciplined system updates.
Map ICS components, purposes, deployments, significant drivers and constraints before choosing controls.
Apply the standards and regulations that govern ICS security, and the governance models built on them.
Probe control-system attack surfaces hands-on, working with the methods and tools attackers use.
Design system and network defence architectures suited to control-system environments.
Run security audits with the appropriate technologies, knowing what each can and cannot see.
Respond to incidents inside a control-system environment, where conventional IT playbooks do not transfer.

Who attends

  • ICS and OT security engineers and analysts
  • Control-system and automation engineers
  • Cybersecurity professionals moving into industrial environments
  • Managers accountable for plant and process security

Cohorts bring together board members, executives and the rising leaders behind them — kept deliberately small, so every seat is a peer’s.

Frequently asked

Which security frameworks do the programmes work with?

The frameworks security teams are audited against — including ISO 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and GDPR obligations — plus industrial control-system security for oil, gas and utilities environments. BIZENIUS does not certify against these standards; participants leave able to run the risk assessments, write the ISMS documentation and prepare the evidence an auditor asks for.

Is there cybersecurity content for boards and non-technical executives?

Yes. Dedicated programmes address risk and cybersecurity for board members, and cyber governance, risk and compliance for executives, alongside practitioner-level depth for security teams — from emerging threats and countermeasures to fraud detection and investigation. Boards leave knowing which questions to put to their CISO, and what a satisfactory answer looks like.

How is pricing handled for cybersecurity programmes?

There is no public rate card. The fee arrives in the proposal, shaped by format, location and any tailoring — request the brochure and a senior practitioner replies within one business day with the details.

Can security training run inside our own environment?

Yes. Every programme runs in-house, tailored to your threat model, your sector and your control environment — including operational-technology settings such as process-control systems. Delivery is in English or French, on site or as a private live virtual cohort.
