ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Masterclass

Plan, conduct and close OH&S management system audits against ISO 45001 — to ISO 19011 guidelines and ISO/IEC 17021-1 certification requirements, with the PECB credential on completion.

Format

Classroom · Live Virtual

The programme

ISO 45001 gives business the first truly international framework for occupational health and safety management — and an audit done badly reduces it to shelf-ware while workers stay exposed. This masterclass strengthens the knowledge and skills to plan and carry out an OH&S MS audit in compliance with ISO 19011 guidelines and the certification process described in ISO/IEC 17021-1. The cohort works from fundamental concepts through requirements interpretation to full audit practice: planning, conducting, closing and managing an audit programme. Successful completion is followed by an exam; passing supports application for the PECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor credential — IAS-certified, internationally recognised validation of your ability to audit an OH&S MS.

What you will do

Ground your audits in the fundamental concepts of an OH&S management system based on ISO 45001.
Interpret ISO 45001 requirements from the perspective of an auditor.
Evaluate OH&S MS conformity in accordance with fundamental audit concepts and principles.
Plan, conduct and close a compliance audit per ISO/IEC 17021-1 requirements and ISO 19011 guidelines.
Manage an ISO 45001 audit programme across an organisation.
Turn audit findings into safety outcomes — fewer accidents, injuries and claims, and a culture where people feel safe to work.

Who attends

  • Auditors seeking to perform and lead OH&S MS certification audits
  • Managers and consultants advancing their OH&S audit knowledge
  • Internal auditors and owners of ISO 45001 conformity
  • Technical experts and OH&S advisors preparing for audit

Cohorts bring together board members, executives and the rising leaders behind them — kept deliberately small, so every seat is a peer’s.

Frequently asked

Are the HSE programmes aligned with international standards?

Programmes work within the recognised safety and environmental management frameworks — including the logic of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, HAZID, HAZOP and SIL studies, and HIRA methodology. BIZENIUS does not issue those certifications itself; the programmes prepare your teams and your management system for the audits behind them.

Do the programmes go beyond compliance basics?

Yes — the curriculum runs from hazard identification through incident and accident investigation, contractor safety management, H2S awareness, emergency response and crisis management. Participants leave able to run a root-cause investigation, write the report that stands up to scrutiny, and hold contractors to the same standard as employees.

Can HSE training be delivered at our site?

Yes. Any BIZENIUS programme can run in-house — at the plant, the field or the facility — tailored to your permits, your procedures and your incident history, in English or French. Site delivery is the most common format for HSE work, because safety training lands hardest where the risk lives.

Who attends the HSE programmes?

HSE managers and officers, operations and line supervisors, engineers, and the managers who own contractor relationships. Cohorts deliberately mix safety specialists with line leadership, because safety that lives only in the HSE department does not survive a night shift.
