The programme
Women in leadership programmes are plentiful; few prepare a senior leader for the decisions that come with the top job. This executive masterclass does, giving each participant individual insight and coaching, with strategic capabilities and stakeholder engagement skills assessed and strengthened one to one. It confronts the nature and challenges of the leadership role, including why leaders fail, then works through creating a winning vision and strategic plans, leading through change and complex challenges, building influence and reputation deliberately, and enhancing the performance of the top team. Governance and the board are part of the job here, which makes it a practical board-readiness programme for women directors as well as executive leadership training for women moving into CEO, MD and general manager roles. Diversity is treated as a source of strategic advantage. Open cohorts in Dubai, London and Johannesburg and Live Virtual, with in-house editions across the GCC, Africa and Asia, in English and French; dates on request.

Frequently asked
Who should attend the women in leadership masterclass?
It is designed for high-potential executive directors being prepared for the CEO role; newly appointed and experienced CEOs, MDs, chairmen, GMs and board directors; chairmen and board directors who wish to relate better to the executive; and mid-level leaders aspiring to lead large, complex programmes.
What does the women in leadership programme cover?
Four blocks: the leadership role itself, including why leaders fail; vision and strategy, from a winning vision to leading through change; influence and reputation, including stakeholder engagement; and the top team and governance, including the board. Throughout, each participant receives individual insight and coaching, with strategic capabilities and stakeholder engagement skills assessed and strengthened one to one.
Does the masterclass prepare women executives for board roles?
Yes — governance and the board are treated as part of the job, not an optional extra. Participants work on the contribution of governance and the board, engaging the board as a stakeholder, and reconciling tensions between the corporate centre and operating businesses, so the masterclass serves as board-readiness preparation for women directors and for executives who report to a board.
Where and when does the masterclass run, and is it available in-house or in French?
Dates are on request: choose Dubai, London, Johannesburg, Live Virtual or your own city on this page and admissions will confirm a date. In-house editions can be delivered for organisations across the GCC, Africa and Asia and tailored to your leadership pipeline and governance context. BIZENIUS delivers the masterclass in English and French; fees and quotations are provided on enquiry.
How is this different from the Women Empowerment and Leadership workshop?
The Women Empowerment and Leadership workshop builds strengths-based leadership, performance leadership and conflict management for women at every stage of their careers. This masterclass is for women already in, or being prepared for, senior and board roles: it concentrates on strategy, the top team, governance and the board, with individual coaching throughout.
Who teaches this
Practitioners, not presenters.
Led by people who have held the seat, or advised those who do: former and serving chief officers, board members and committee chairs, and senior consultants who have sat beside executive committees through transformations, successions and crises. They teach from decisions they carried, in rooms kept small enough for the cohort’s own situations to be worked.
What the bench brings
- Executive and team coaching
- Leading change and managing managers
- Emotionally intelligent and strengths-based leadership
- High-impact presentations and executive communication
- Leading, motivating and managing teams
- Change management and cultural change
Where they have practised
Practitioners who hold the seat today.
Sectors: Professional services · Government & public sector · Banking & financial services · Oil & gas
Regions: Africa · the Middle East · Europe · Asia · the Americas
How they teach
- Role plays and filmed practice with senior feedback
- Case work from executive and board situations
- Peer coaching and structured group discussion
- Self-assessment instruments and reflection
- A personal leadership action plan
Cohorts are kept small so every exercise is worked on the participants’ own situations — in person or live virtual.
